What were the activities and what happened: Do-it-yourself (DIY) home remodeling appears to be the trend on social media nowadays as more Filipinos spend time redesigning and giving their abode a timely makeover while in quarantine and on a work-from-home setup. There’s more to home remodeling than meets the eye. Other important factors to consider include safety, convenience, and value for money.
To help share more knowledge and to give useful insights about this, the Manila Bulletin and East Bay Residences by Primaries, a Rockwell Company, hosted “Less is More: Turning Spaces Multifunctional” last March 25, 2021.
The webinar gathered some of the country’s respected professional interior designers including Raleene Cabrera, co-founder of Gussy; Mark Steven Perez, one of the partners at Empire Designs, and Raul Ramon Lopez-Vito Bucoy II, founder of Casa Buddha, to talk about the do’s and don’ts of home remodeling including how to achieve a conducive home-office area, how to choose stylish and functional home furniture, and how to maximize small spaces at home.
