Seeing the stones as we put them in the lobbies for the first time. The other day I walked through 8 Rockwell, and I touched the stone – the beautiful black stone – and it made me feel like, “I want to see this finished.” I get such a big high when I walk the site and see it coming together. I dream of many more Rockwell Centers all over the Philippines.

Alu Suarez is no stranger to the world of hospitality. “The day starts and ends with a customer, engaging with them and getting to know them better,” Suarez shares. “Our aim is to make guests feel at home and at ease. The Aruga difference is that service is given from the heart.”

During weekends we really spend time bonding with our son Hugo. We especially enjoy the Amenity Deck at The Grove. Hugo loves swimming in the pool and running around with his playmates at The Great Lawn while we enjoy lounging around the area. Plus, my family and I enjoy all the new shops and restaurants at the Retail Row. Weekend brunch at Backyard Kitchen & Brew before getting a haircut at The Village Barbershop is must once a month. But more than that, I enjoy the convenience of going to Rustan’s Supermarket.
